The World Needs... you.

I Believe in Unicorns (used as a bracelet)

I saw the world, and it was it was pure. Hunger was eliminated as neighbors took eachother excess food, and everyone knew one another's name. Pride was replaced by love as people spent time to build eachother up. There was no malice, no hurt, and no pain. Every child felt loved, and women on every continent felt beautiful. Depression was non existant, and peace filled every soul. There were less tears, and more giving. I saw this world, and I wanted it to exist.

Finding the cure to widespread despair motivates me. Spreading light to those who sit in darkness is the way to lift the shadows that plague their lives. Optimism is the only antidote to the negative messages that flood us daily. There's a replacement for despair; it's service. Building up those around us is the key to find pure joy. The world can be changed. It just needs people who are willing to SHINE. It needs people who are willing to rise above all odds, and accomplish hard things. It needs people, like you.

(Ps: If you live in AZ, you can catch The Shine Project on NBC Wednesday night on the 10 o'clock news)

It's so great you're doing so much! remember when I told you about how I wanted to gather clothes and distribute them to people who needed clothes that were appropriate for church? Well, I did it! I distributed them to two stakes in the Tempe area and it was incredible! :) It was even easier than I thought! everyone was so willing to give.

Ashley! Thank you so so so much for stopping by BudgetBlonde and for your sweet comments saying my blog was awesome last week. It just truly made my day because I'm actually a big fan of YOURS! I didn't realize that you were the Shine Ashley until I clicked on your name in the comment section. Very sweet of you and means a lot. I always enjoy your posts- they are so motivating, and I am super excited you made your way over to my little section of the blogosphere.....

...and the writing in your post today is just beautiful. Love the pictures and the jewelry and the message too.

I totally agree that what world needs from each of us is service. It's amazing how denying yourself for others can make you so much happier in the long run.
