Shine Event 2011

We did it. In three months, an amazing, successful event was put together, and student's lives will be changed for.ever. I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect night. Over 150 people came and showed their support, thousands of dollars were raised, the kids absolutely nailed all of their performances, and most importantly, they were able to feel the love of others who want them to succeed in their lives.
The day after the event, a huge weight felt like it had been lifted off of my shoulders. I cried, I thanked God, and I immediately made a plan for the next year. Friends, some pretty amazing, life changing, and huge things are around the corner.
This is my passion.
Get ready for an explosion of pictures...but hey, I feel like this event deserves them :)

THANK YOU to my main event sponsor San Tan Ford!

She helped me so much.

Every table had a mason jar with students pictures in it, and another one with a candle

The Cesar Chavez drum line lined the walkway, leading people in. It was ROCKIN.

A HUGE Thank you to Nothing Bundt Cakes, Mind Over Batter, and Starbucks!!

Some pretty fellow bloggers who came to support <3

My MC for the night, Miss Britanee Perkins-Former Miss Black Arizona.
So perfect.

Husband whispering words of support. I couldn't do this without him.

One of my favorite moments-A student's mom bought a raffle ticket and won the grand prize for a stay in Mexico.

When I was flipping through pictures of the night (since I had to assign husband to take them) I came across this one of MY DAD. With a tutu. On His Head. And Yes, it was a silent auction item.

Congratulations!
I organized a lot of tennis tournaments (even ATP tournaments) in our family run tennis club here in Budaors, Hungary so I now how much effort, organization and patience it needs to be able to exhale freely and relieved at the end.
